Tax credit for household expenses

The tax credit for household expenses is a tax credit that is applied to certain services, for example cleaning. Cleaning of vacation houses is also valid for the credits. The tax credit for household expenses for cleaning services was raised to 60% from the start of the year 2022.

The tax credit for household expenses in the year 2022 is 60% of the paid amount up to €3500. The tax credit has a yearly deductible of €100. Every year in February, we will deliver a summary of the services you’ve bought from us. With the help of the summary you will have an easy job declaring the expenses for the tax declaration.

The tax credit is in practice granted for the year when the bill has been paid. The tax credit is declared in the MyTax service.

The prices include VAT, cleaning materials and necessary equipment. Cleaning that takes place once a week has a minimum charge of 2 hours. Cleaning 2x per month or more seldom has a minimum charge of 3 hours.
